Michigan co-offensive coordinator Matt Weiss has been placed on leave due to a police investigation of "reports of computer access crimes".

Weiss is out of the team and is not helping with the recruiting process this offseason.
College football insider Pete Thamel, per ESPN
In response to this ongoing investigation, Weis released a statement to ESPN:
“I am aware of the ongoing investigation by the University of Michigan Police Department and are cooperating fully with investigators.
I am waiting for the matter to be resolved. Respecting the integrity of the investigation,
I will not comment further."
The 39-year-old Weis just finished his second season as an assistant under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The Wolverines have earned College Football Playoff berths in each of their two seasons with the program.
